Oh, how excited I am to share with ya’ll, Sophia and Flynn’s wedding! This was one of those weddings that truly came full-circle for me. When Sophia and Flynn were attending William and Mary, I met Sophia. Sophia was a friend of one of our interns, Andrea and when I asked Andrea to execute my wedding day, she asked if she could bring her friend Sophia to help. I knew it would be a big wedding day, so I told her to absolutely bring Sophia! On my wedding day when I met Sophia, I couldn’t help but hug her. I mean it was the happiest day of my life after all. While much of my day was a blur, I do know that Sophia and my team of girls who helped execute my wedding day played a significant role in my wedding day and for that, I will be forever grateful to her and the girls!
Last Spring, Sophia and I reconnected when she called me about her own wedding. She told me she pretty much wanted my wedding and was going to use a lot of the same vendors, including Colonial Heritage Clubhouse! To say I was flattered is an understatement! The planning process with Sophia and Flynn was so much fun. These two have overcome so much. From being College sweethearts to having the most beautiful surprise (their sweet baby girl lyla), these two are in it for forever and I’m so grateful that we could be there for her, the way she was for me on my wedding day!
Sophia, Flynn, and Lyla, we are so happy for you three and we thank you for allowing us to be a part of your big day! Sophia, I am pretty sure your wedding was just as you envisioned it and honestly, I think it was prettier than mine! (insert raising prayer hands here)!
