the boring paperwork
When you decide to book we will send a contract services questionnaire. You'll fill that out and we then create the wedding contract and invoice for you for 50% of your wedding planning package.
Online Aisle Planner Dashboard
You'll get access to our customer relationship management software, Aisle Planner, from the day you sign the wedding contract .
your planner will be chosen
Once all the bookkeeping is done, you'll be introduced to your planner via email and the next steps will be provided.
venue walkthrough
You'll get a venue walkthrough at six months out from the wedding and a final walkthrough to review final details, typically 1.5 months out from the wedding.
vendor recommendations and communication
Four vendor recommendations within the four categories you want will be provided. You will handle the booking and scheduling of those meetings on your own. We do not review contracts or assist with booking. We communicate with the caterer or all-inclusive venue the final numbers for catering and breakdown of meals. We also communicate with ALL vendors 60 days out from the wedding day
planner assistance
Right away, your planner will assist you with creating a lookbook and provide four vendor recommendations. You will then meet with your planner to review and then come up with a checklist of what should be done from then until six months out from the wedding when they pick up planning again. The coordinator then sends the couple a checklist six months out from the wedding. Your planner starts the unlimited communication via email with you again at this point.
timeline and diagrams
Your timeline and diagrams will be completed following the first walkthrough. You will have access to them before they are sent out to vendors and your planner will work on it with you until two months from the wedding. They will be sent out to all vendors five weeks out, two weeks out, and week of the wedding with updates.
design and budget
We will provide a lookbook to you based on your Pinterest board, planning needs, and vision for the wedding. You can use this to take to your vendors and provide inspiration. The lookbook does tell you how you can rent items and achieve the look.

Our Partial Planning service is ideal for couples who want a customized planning experience with professional support where it matters most. Whether you need guidance with hotel and room block contracts, vendor recommendations, select meetings, ongoing email support, or help coordinating vendor appointments, we step in to ease the overwhelm and keep the process moving smoothly.

When will I be assigned a Wedding Co. Planner?
For all packages, we provide the couple with their planning team and their contact information, immediately following the booking process with Wedding Co.
Do you all do Custom Packages?
While we have the ability to do custom packages, we tend to stick with the wedding planning packages we have set in place. Over the years, we have found that these serve the majority of our clients well.
Do you travel outside of Williamsburg, Virginia?
We sure do and we would love to be a part of your wedding weekend anywhere in Virginia. While our home base is in Williamsburg, Virginia, we have had the opportunity to work in Charlottesville, Richmond, The Eastern Shore, Virginia Beach, and many other areas. We would love to bring our southern hospitality to you!
How many weddings do you all do a year?
We typically plan and assist on anywhere from 25- 30 weddings a year. With a team of 3 lead planners, none of us take on more than 8 weddings a year to ensure our couples are getting the best planning services possible.

What makes your Company different?
We are so glad you asked! We put hospitality above everything. We want you and your family to feel as if they are guests at your wedding. We do this by providing concierge services on the wedding day like bringing lunch, bringing drinks, and being there for you and your family every step of the way. In addition, our 17+ years of experience in the Virginia wedding market, has allowed us to become experts in what the area has to offer. Our knowledge of the area’s wedding industry exceeds expectations.
What type of services do you offer?
We currently offer Wedding Day Management services, Partial Planning, Full Planning and Design services. We limit the number of wedding day management clients each year to ensure our clients receive the attention they deserve.
What type of communication do you offer?
Each planner is different. From the start of your planning experience, your planner will tell you the best way to contact them. Email is included in your package. Most of our team members love text, phone calls, email, and using our online planning dashboard system, Aisle Planner daily!
